OREANDA-NEWS. February 9, 2009. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is ongoing putting into operation producing wells at its offshore fields.

The Company informs that on 8 February well #2282 was commissioned on platform #1887 with daily debit of 100 tons of oil. It is planned to drill 36 wells and it has been drilled 16 of them. Simultaneously 12 wells are under operation and 3 ones are under repairs. 390 tons of oil a day is produced from the platform with target of production growth up to 570 tons.
