OREANDA-NEWS. February 9, 2009. joint seminar of AZEL and Cisco Systems was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Seminar was devoted to the new solutions of Cisco for contemporary enterprises. Seminar was held under support of AZEL Company – Cisco Premier Partner. At the seminar took part representatives of state organizations and banking sector. 

At the beginning of seminar Bakhtiyar Aliyev – Channel Account Manager has noted that “AZEL is a strategic partner of Cisco Systems and one of the most intensively developing IT companies in Azerbaijan. In 2008 AZEL has accomplished a number of large projects and intended to strengthen its success as a reliable supplier of Cisco solutions”.

Channel Systems Engineer Fuad Mailov has presented new technology for database storage network in the Data Center. New technology is developed to help customers to increase output and scalability of networks, simplify network administration, increase data security and extend SAN functionality in a virtual machine environment.

After that, Agshin Suleymanov –Account Manager, has acquainted seminar participants with Cisco solutions portfolio for unified communications. Cisco Unified Communications System Release 7.0. Cisco Unified Communications System Release 7.0 enables an organization to create adaptive workspaces that build productivity, business agility, security, and competitive advantage. With this latest release Cisco has focused on three key customer priorities: opening the network, enhancing the user experience and Improving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Cisco Unified Communications System 7.0 enables to run voice, data, and video communications over a single, converged network with call-processing software, telephones, and endpoint devices.

The last presentation made by system engineer Teymur Agayev, was devoted to Cisco solutions for defense of  working stations and laptops from threaths and virus attacks.
