OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 February 2009 was announced, that Sevmash Director General Nikolay Kalistratov discussed with Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov problem regarding building living houses in Severodvinsk.

Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov signed decision about building two apartment houses for Sevmash shipbuilders and military sailors in September 2008. But consequences of economic crisis led to finishing building around the whole country. Severodvinsk project also came into difficulties.

Understanding importance of establishing service housing for attracting qualified personnel, Yuri Luzhkov ordered “Glavmossstroj-Invest” company to speed up work in Severodvinsk. They plan to found the first 200-flat house in 2009 and complete its building in 2010.

Chief Engineer service is working in contact with Moscow builders. Special attention is paid to service housing distribution. Special committee headed by Deputy Director General for personnel Vasily Ugrumov is studying criteria for candidates’ selection.

“The so called Sevmash “gold” fund – qualified workers and engineers – are the first to get service housing – said Nikolay Kalistratov.
