OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 February 2009 was announced, that “MCC “EuroChem” summarized results of sales of mineral fertilizers in the year of 2008.

OJSC “MCC “EuroChem” continues to increase sales volumes of produced products in the domestic market and in the market of CIS countries notwithstanding the global financial crisis and reduction of the level of consumption of mineral fertilizers caused by it. In 2008 the volume of supplies of mineral fertilizers by EuroChem increased by 2% in comparison with the similar indicator over 2007 and amounted to 1.4 million tons.

The largest increase - 22% to the level of 2007 - is observed in indicators of sales of carbamide (87 thousand tons). The volume of supplies of ammonium-phosphate-sulfate increased by 12% up to 44 thousand tons. The indicator of sales of the nitrogen fertilizers which is the most popular in Russia - ammonium nitrate increased by 7% (622 thousand tons). Volumes of supply of the complicated fertilizer NPK 17:0,1:28 raised by 6% (3 thousand tons). Supplies of alkaline goods maintained the level of the previous year.

EuroChem considers the domestic market as the priority and the most perspective sales market, therefore, it aims to become a reliable partner for Russian agricultural producers. The company is actively developing the network of regional agricultural centers – centers for realization of the full nomenclature of mineral fertilizers and provision of complex services in the area of agricultural chemistry for achievement of the set yield and soil fertility.
