OREANDA-NEWS. February 06, 2009. In January 2009 Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant which operates under Metinvest Group produced 43.3 tons of large diameter pipes, reported the press-centre of SCM.

In January the plant continued producing 1067х15,9 mm, 1067х19,1 mm and 1067х25,4mm Х70 tubes with exterior and interior anticorrosion coating for the Kazakh Project "Central Asia - China". In January the plant dispatched 39,800.00 tons; the pipes production being 43,600.00 tons*.

The project "Central Asia - China" is a main gas pipeline that will connect gas pipeline system of China with big deposits of natural gas in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenia.
