OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 February 2009 was announced, that the Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan met with his foreign colleagues and discussed the possibilities of further bilateral cooperation aimed at broadening of economic ties of Armenia, during his visit to Switzerland, from January 26 to February 1, 2009.

During the meeting with the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Mr. Yeritsyan discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of mutual interests within the framework of large economic projects.

The main subject of discussions with Doris Leuthard, the Federal Councilor of the Switzerland’s Federal Department of Economic Affairs, was the possibilities of Swiss businessmen’s participation in the projects directed to development of Jermuk resort town.

Nerses Yeritsyan invited his colleagues to visit Armenia with local entrepreneurs. During their visits, it is expected to organize round tables with participation of Armenian businessmen and stakeholders, and clarify the spheres and directions for future bilateral cooperation.
