OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 February 2009 was announced, that General director of JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” has sent the congratulation letters to editors’ offices of the leading mass media of the Far eastern region.

“The topical and true information is necessary to the people as well as the power and heat, which we are producing”, - says in the congratulation with the Day of Russian Press* the head of one of the largest energy companies Valery LEVIT. He stressed, “the world has known about the latest news and events” thanks to mass media, which are covering the most important items.

Many of events, happened in JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” (JSC “FEGC”) in 2008, has also found its reflection in the newspapers publications, TV- and radio items and became the common property. Thus, there was widely covered the gasification of power stations of the Company in Khabarovsky krai, putting into operation the new power capacities in Primoriye and a row of other events.

In his congratulation Valery LEVIT wished the mass media employees the bright ideas, warm words, energy and inspiration.

*We remind you that the Day of Russian Press is celebrated in Russia on January 13 – in the day when in 1703 has published the first issue of the first Russian newspaper “Vedomosti”. After1917 this holiday was transferred to May 5 – the day of publishing the basic soviet newspaper “Pravda” and renamed into the Day of the Soviet Press. The original, historically true date was restored in 1992.
