OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 February 2009 was announced, that Anatoly Chubais took part  in the World Economic Forum, taking place in Davos, Switzerland, between January 28 and February 1. It was the first time that he attended the event as the CEO of RUSNANO.

Anatoly Chubais spoke at a session on “New applications for nanotechnologies”, which involved a discussion on the use of nanotechnologies in medicine, energy generation and IT, as well as the challenges of commercialization, risk evaluation and management strategy in advance of the anticipated launch of nanotechnological goods on the market.

Moreover RUSNANO CEO took part in discussions on the prospects for scientific research and new methods of treating cancer using nanotechnologies, and will also conduct a number of business meetings with executives from the world’s leading companies working in the sphere of new technologies.
