OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 February 2009 was announced, that in 2008, Mikhailovsky mill integrated in PAVA structure (www.apkhleb.ru) significantly increased its export sales. Apart from flour, with its high quality quickly gaining popularity on overseas markets, partners form near abroad have shown interest in the bran produced by Mikhailovsky mill.
The first export shipment was made to Uzbekistan, in the year 2008. “In 2008, we achieved considerable increase in the assortment of products shipped overseas. Initially, collaboration was based solely on bulk flour, while today it also includes consumer-size flour, cereals and bran. Competition on the feed market is tight, so we ensure that PAVA bran meets the expected standards in both quality and price”, commented Angela Kiseleva, PAVA Commercial Director.
In 2009 PAVA began to export another product, an exclusive variety of flour enriched with proteins and vitamins. It contains nutrients naturally stored in wheat – B1, B2, E, nicotinamide and iron. The enhancement was enabled by leading-edge milling methods, which are close to nanotechnologies.
B1 and B2 are good for handling stress, prevention of heart disease and cancer, while nicotinamide improves digestion and nervous system functioning.
Unique properties of protein-enriched flour make it an indispensable product for present-day customer. Besides, it offers advantages to bakers – with the appropriate baking technology the output of bread amounts to 132-135%.
