OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 February 2009 was announced, that last week Ingosstrakh IJSC paid to its client (a private person) a compensation of RUB 2.6 mln. The payment was made because of theft of Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG. The car was stolen from near the shopping center in Krasnogorsk of the Moscow oblast. The vehicle was insured against theft and damage to the amount of RUB  2 850 000.

On January 27, Ingosstrakh paid over RUB 2.3 mln for theft of Volkswagen TOUAREG from a dwelling house in Arbat, Moscow. The vehicle was equipped with a satellite alarm and tracking system.  The compensation was transferred to the banking account of the customer.

On the following day, the company paid compensation to the amount of over RUB 1.3 mln because of theft of Lexus GS 300. The car was stolen from a dwelling house in the town of Zelenograd. The car was equipped only with a regular anti-theft system.

Last week, total payments made by Ingosstrakh IJSC for retail insurance in Moscow and Moscow region exceeded RUB 179.8 mln.
