OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 February 2009 was announced, that the most part of development of Moscow’s International Business Centre Moskva-City is to be completed by late 2009, Mayor Yuri Luzhkov told journalists.

“I believe 2009 will be the year when we pass 'the equator'. The most part of designs and buildings will be completed,” Mr Luzhkov said.

According to the official, the time frame for developing some objects is extended. “Moskva-City is being developed, however, its construction is complicated due to the crisis. We raise the issue concerning what the city must do to support the investors, what problems the city must solve to make the investors work without delay,” the mayor of Moscow emphasized.

Mr Luzhkov added that City Hall was also to decide the organizational issue of mixing the work in the completed office blocks and the building work within Moskva-City.
