OREANDA-NEWS. On February 02, 2009 Batys transit (Almaty), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with an information message as follows, reported the press-centre of KASE:

Batys transit (further - the Company) constructing interregional power line Northern Kazakhstan - Aktobe oblast herewith informs on finish of construction and beginning of operation.

On December 29, 2008 the Company was granted license No. 272 for transfer and distribution of power, operation of power networks and substations.

Currently the Company is being included in the republican chapter of the register of entities of natural monopolies for approval of investment tariff for transfer of electrical power. Work on conclusion of agreements is being conducted.

Application on establishment of the State Commission for commissioning of the site has been sent to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
