Ingosstrakh Insures Costume Collection by Designer Yudashkin
OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 February 2009 was announced, that the Branch of IJSC Ingosstrakh in Vologda and the Vologda State History, Architecture and Art Museum and Preserve have entered into an insurance contract for the articles of an exhibition of designer costume collection ‘Lace. Valentin Yudashkin: 20 years of creativity in fashion’ offered for display by the Moscow Fashion Museum.
The exhibition housed by the exhibition hall of the Vologda State History, Architecture and Art Museum will be open till June 1, 2009.
Moscow Fashion Museum is the first Moscow and Russian museum dedicated to the history of fashion as one of the forms of cultural life of the community. The backbone of the museum is a collection of designer articles by the People’s Artist of Russia V. Yudashkin created throughout the 20 years of his creativeness and presented to the City of Moscow as a gift.
Vologda State History, Architecture and Art Museum and Preserve (www.vologdamuseum.ru) is a scientific, research and education organization supported by the state as the preserve of artistic, historical, architectural, literature and other artifacts as well as articles of tangible and spiritual heritage. The museum exhibits more than 40 monuments of architecture with the total area exceeding 9000 sq.m. Every year the museum receives more than 200 visitors. Currently, the museum is working on the construction of more than 40 new displays and exhibitions on various subjects. It hosts international and pan-Russian scientific conferences and practical conferences dedicated to various fields of museum and related activities.
