OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2009. During January of 2009 the State Tax Administration of Ukraine hasn’t just fulfilled the planned showings in returns to the State Budget, but overfulfilled them by 5.5%. The Head of Sate Tax Administration Serhii Buryak announced during a briefing.

Total UAH 6749.6 mn have been collected, which is by UAH 351.9 mn more from the estimated sum.

“In January we have fulfilled all kinds of tax rhythmically,” Serhii Buryak underlined.

According to him, income tax has brought UAH 1374.1 mn (124.9% is the level of implementation), value added tax – UAH 4078.2 mn (106.1%), excise tax – UAH 792.2 mn (106.6%).

“I want to accentuate, for the first time we have collected sufficient amount not just in volumes, but taking into account separate taxes,” the Head of STA of Ukraine explained.

Serhii Buryak expressed his assurance such a tendency would preserve by the end of year.

Besides, the STA head stressed over 95% taxes are being paid voluntary. “This is a proof of moral, tax and economic culture of our subjects of economy whom we have supported, support now and will continue in the future,” Serhii Buryak said.
