OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2009. The budget will receive extra UAH 400 mn, if the Verkhovna Rada supports elaborated by the Government draft law concerning reduction of transport due for automobiles with engine of 2.2 – 3 litres.

The Head of State Committee for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship Olexandra Kuzhel announced during a meeting into defining of tax levied on owners of vehicles, held in the Cabinet of Ministers, chaired by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

“We expect that approval of such draft law will enable to add around 400 million hryvnyas to the State Budget,” Olexandra Kuzhel said.

The Head of State Committee for Entrepreneurship also explained that transport due for automobiles from 2201 cu cm till 2500 cu cm is planned to cut from 75 to 20 UAH per cu cm. The tax levied on owners of vehicles from 2501 cu cm till 3000 cu cm – from 75 to 50 UAH per 100 cu cm.

Cars with engine of from 3001 cu cm and higher – from 120 to 80 UAH per 100 cu cm. At this, for the cars of being exploited over 8 years in categories of engine volume from 2500 till 3000 cu cm and from 3001 cu cm and higher the due will be levied at the rate with a coefficient 0.7, which means owners of such vehicles will pay 70% from the fixed rate.

At this, Olexandra Kuzhel underlined the proposed rates have been coordinated and supported by the Council of Entrepreneurs.
