OREANDA-NEWS. As at February 1, 2009 the retail customer accounts have exceeded RUR 50 billion.

In the period from October 15, 2008 to January 31 2009 the seasonal deposit program “St. Petersburg Seasons” was offered to the Bank’s customers; during this time frame Bank’s retail customer accounts increased by RUR 9.25 billion.

“Seasonal offers of the Bank are always popular among our clients,” - Pavel Filimonenok, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board comments. – In spite of the unfavorable market conditions the Bank managed to show growth in retail customers accounts due to well balanced interest rate policy and trust of its customers.”

As at October 1, 2008 Bank Saint Petersburg was among Top 10 Russian banks in terms of retail deposits according to the analytical journal “Kommersant Dengi”.
