OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2009. Ukraine has launched serial production of mailboxes of new construction. Post office boxes have been designed by a state enterprise Ukrainian scientific research institute of communication and meet the national standards of Ukraine.

Two types of new construction of a mailbox with a slot for correspondence and another model with slots for mail which are closed with joint doors. The first variant fits to be used in houses with concierges so that they can be controlled. In other cases the boxes with slots for mail are proposed.

The boxes with slots for correspondence with joint doors have a series of advantages before the ones in use now. They ensure free access to insert the mail in all the sections only after opening of the joint doors. The new construction makes impossible the access to correspondence through the slots and joint doors of the mailbox. So, it makes impossible to put foreign things into the locked mailboxes and peep into someone’s mail.
