OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 February 2009 was announced, that during the first quarter of 2009 another 500 people from the turn will get apartments that are bought out by the akimat in terms of the measures on economy stabilization.

“Practically all bought out objects are being built at the moment. In the first quarter we will complete the works, commission several residential estates where people will get 500 apartments”, said on Friday the deputy of Astana akim Sergey Khoroshun when perambulating 3 residential estates where akimat bought 28.4 thousand sq. m of habitat on, i.e. 3.1 billion tenge.

By the end of the year it is planned to commission 47 residential estates where akimat bought 6200 apartments

Besides he emphasized that they are realizing the measures on the completion of the problem objects.

Nikolay Tikhonyuk, the deputy of the construction businesses committee chairman, who took part in the perambulation said that the efficient use of finance allotted by the government became possible due to the increased share of domestic construction materials during house-building.

“Due to the local materials we can meet the price fixed by the government, i.e. 56.6 thousand tenge. If we would have continued to buy in Russia and other states we could never meet this price”, said N. Tikhonyuk.

“Today we provide 65% of all the construction materials. When the housing program started we provided only 30 %. Gradually we reach 100% provision”, remarked N. Tikhonyuk.
