OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 February 2009 was announced, that in early January 2009, Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, was recognized Best Manager in the Banking Sector of Ukraine within the rating ‘Guard of Managers 2008’.

He was also named among 25 best managers in all branches of the economy of Ukraine.

The all-Ukraine rating ‘Guard of Managers 2008’, which named 500 most successful top-managers of Ukraine, was initiated by the Ukraining Rating Agency and published by the Halytski Kontrakty publishing house.

Projects titled ‘Guard’ have been launched since May 2004. Results of the ratings are subjected to external audit.

The ‘Guard of Managers’ rating presents the managing elite of Ukraine and assesses activity of top managers in terms of a number of criteria. While making the rating, the expert board took into consideration management efficiency and financial results of companies headed by candidates, their innovative competition, quality of relations with partners, competitors, social activity as well as business and social reputation of the top managers.
