OREANDA-NEWS. February 2, 2009. The President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing Ashgabat Khyakimik to conclude the contract for design and construction of a recreation park with two underground passages, amphitheatre and water fountain on the square at the intersections of Magtumguly Avenue and 2020 (Berdy Kerbabaev) St and 2009 (Gyorogly) St and 2022 (Alisher Navoyi) St and improvement of the adjacent territory amounted to USD 33.250,220 (without VAT) with Bahar Insaat Sanayi we Tijaret A.S. (Turkey). Ashgabat Kyakimlik is to conclude the contract for making and installing 47 sculptors amounted to 10.161,219 manats (with VAT) with the Artists’ Union of Turkmenistan.

Construction work is to be started in February 2009 and completed in June 2010.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan the Ministry of Communication is authorized to subscribe the central government bodies and administrative institutions, ministries and departments, chief and sectoral research establishments, A. S. Pushkin Turkmen-Russian School to the foreign periodicals for the first half of 2009 and conclude the contract with Rospechat Agency (Russian Federation) to the total sum of 2431206,75 Russian rubles and Informnauka limited company Agency (Russian Federation) to the sum of 1913629,70 Russian rubles.

The President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Education to hold the 43rd Mendeleev International School Chemistry Olympiad ion Ashgabat on April 25-May 2, 2009. In accordance with the Resolution the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan is to approve the membership of the organising committee.
