OREANDA-NEWS. February 2, 2009. The participation of Turkmen textile workers in Нeimtextil-2009 International Trade Fair in Frankfort on the Main (Federal Republic of Germany) was a success. For the first time Turkmen textiles were presented at this prestigious trade fair of domestic and industrial textile, industrial technologies and equipment. Each year Нeimtextil brings together up to 3,000 participants from over 70 countries worldwide. The world’s large textile producers including the leading firms and companies from Europe, Asia, North and South Americas showcase their innovations and latest developments at this exposition. The exposition presenting Turkmenistan’s textile industry – the youngest, dynamically developed and very promising sector of the domestic economy was one of the most popular at the trade fair in Frankfort on the Main. Yarn, fabric, knitted goods made in Turkmenistan can compete with the products manufactured by the world’s leaders of textile business. The environmentally friendly plus high quality meeting the international standards conditions great demand for Turkmen textiles on the international markets

That was vividly illustrated by keen interest of the large trading companies including Vimatex Multi S.A. (Switzerland), Siretessile (Italy), Rally Fashion (Germany), Groupe Carrefour (Franc), Mezrone (Latvia) in Turkmenistan’s exposition. At Heimtextil-2009 Turkmenistan showcased a wide range of the goods manufactured by three leading textile enterprises – the textile complexes in Bairamali and Ashgabat – terry and knitted goods, bedclothes, gray cloth and dyed cotton fabrics. These goods made from real cotton are of great demand on international markets.

The participation in the international trade fair was an opportunity for Turkmen textile workers to know the activity and potential of the world-renowned companies including German Schmale Durate and Oerliron Schlafhorst – the world’s textile equipment producers. The Turkmen specialists held the meeting and talks in Germany which resulted in concluding the agreements on delivery of specialized equipment and spare parts for the textile enterprises in Turkmenistan and regular training of specialists in Turkmenistan. It should be noted that the participation in Heimtextil-2009 was a result of cooperation with German consulting company Goetzpartners that had provided substantial assistance in establishing the contacts with potential partners of Turkmenistan’s textile industry.
