OREANDA-NEWS. On January 28, 2009 Prime Minister of Ukraine Y.V. Tymoshenko supported the State Committee on Entrepreneurship initiative and the Government has abolished the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 20, 2008 №1118 “On amending the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 16, 2000 №507”. According to this document, the subjects of simplified tax system were deprived of the right to voluntarily register as a VAT payer.  

Head of the State Committee on Entrepreneurship Oleksandra Kuzhel informed that by this Government’s decision the rights of natural persons - single tax payers had been restored. If an entrepreneur makes an appeal, the tax administration is obliged to restore his/her previous status without any administrative or financial notices.

At that, agreements are achieved to introduce the registration of inventory holdings of such subjects of business activity by amending the Order of SCE “On approval of the Certificate of paying a single tax and the Procedure of its issuing” №599 of October 29, 1999.
