Murmansk Area Faces Rise in Prices for Foodstuff
OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 January 2009 was announced, that in region the Ministry of Economic Development have summed up weekly monitoring of the prices for separate products in Murmansk area. According to Murmanskstat, for 2008 consumer prices have grown for 14,1 percent (by December of previous year), articles of food have risen in price for 16,6 percent. The consumer price index in December in comparison with November has made 101 percent, including on articles of food - 100,9 percent, not food - 101,1 percent.
As informs the Ministry of economic development of Murmansk area, according to the monitoring which intermediate results have been brought in the Ministry in the end of the past week, for last week the come year the prices for whole milk (price change has made 101,3 percent), dairy mixes for a children's food (101,5 percent), granulated sugar (101,7), cheeses (101,1 percent), apples (101,1 percent), salt (101,1 percent) have grown.
On other products of the price have grown rather slightly, and eggs chicken have fallen in price for 1,6 percent. Gasoline automobile also has fallen in price for 1,3 percent. However, according to the Ministry of territorial development, building and housing and communal services of Murmansk area, the wholesale price of black oil for January, 16th has made 4737 rubles for ton, that for 25,3 percent above, than two weeks ago, but for 42,8 percent it is less, than in January, 2008.
