OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2009. The foreign power plants of INTER RAO UES are Mktvari Energetika LLC, Khrami WPP-1 and Khrami WPP-2 (Georgia), Armenian NPP and MEK CJSC (Armenia), Ekibastuz GRES-2 (Kazakhstan), Sangtudin WPP-1 (Tajikistan) and Moldavian GRES.

In 2008 almost all of them overfulfilled their electricity production plans generating a total of 14.1bln KWh.

Ekibastuz GRES-2 produced most of all – 6.2bln KWh. This is the highest output ever registered by that plant. In 2004 it produced 5.6bln KWh.
