OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2009. As strategy of the company in the telecommunications industry, JSC “Kazakhtelecom” plans actively develop the Kazakhstani internal segment of the Internet, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.

The active work of JSC "Kazakhtelecom" on creating an attractive conditions for the development of KazNet has confirmed the positive statistics. Results of policy differentiation of traffic for subscribers of "Megaline" (individuals) have shown a gradual increase in the proportion of domestic traffic. So during March-December 2008 the share of domestic traffic increased from 19, 4% to 56 1% - it is almost 5 times more than the beginning of the year.

The segment of the domestic traffic generated by subscribers of "Megaline" (individuals), in December 2008 amounted to 56,1%. The increase in the proportion of traffic compared to November 2008 amounted to 2,8%. The volume of domestic traffic in December 2008 increased by 21, 3% compared with November 2008.
