OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2009. In 2008 JSC Electrometallurgical Works Dneprospetsstal named after A.N. Kuzmin shipped from the shops 482 823 tons of steel that is 12.1% less than in 2007, reported the press-centre of Dneprospetsstal.

For the same period, production of rolled stock reduced by 10.1% while total amount of rolled product shipments comprised 315 351 tons.

Totally, in 2008 commodity output exceeded UAH 3 bn 674 m (for established prices) that is by 2% less comparing to 2007.

Dneprospetsstal employs 7900 people. Wage hike made up 24.5% in 2008.

JSC Dneprospetsstal is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of bars and forgings of special steel grades, i.e. stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and structural steel as well as nickel based high-temperature alloys.
