According to annual ranking of the world's best foreign exchange banks, "World's Best Foreign Exchange Banks 2009", PrivatBank is the best bank in Ukraine as to Global Finance experts. According to the analysts’ conclusions, PrivatBank is the leading bank in Ukraine by assets level and serves more than 15 million clients. Also, Global Finance experts note the bank's activity in financing of Ukrainian economy and in foreign exchange market operations.

The winners of the ranking were chosen by jury voting, consisting of financial analysts, executives of corporations, experts in banking technologies and also Global Finance editors.

In order to shortlist of the laureates, the following criteria were taken into account: deals' volume, market share, geographic coverage, clients' servicing, competitiveness of tariffs, innovative technologies usage.
