OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 January 2009 was announced, that during the meeting, the following practical questions were discussed: mutual cooperation, aimed at establishing favourable environment in relation to keeping up sustained economic situation in municipal unit "Pikalevo town" and developing Closed joint stock company "Pikalevsky cement", as well as economic and social development of the plant, based upon elaboration and implementation of joint projects of the government of  Leningrad region and ZAO "EUROCEMENT group".

Valery Serdjukov said that Leningrad region government, within its competent authority, is ready to ensure establishement of favourable conditions to develop production capacities and social infrastructure of ZAO "Pikalevsky cement", and render assistance to the Holding in preparation of offers to the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation as to including of ZAO "Pikalevsky cement" into the list of plants, which will be provided with state assistance in credit resources involvement to complete investment projects started.

In his turn, President of  ZAO "EUROCEMENT group" Mikhail Skorokhod expressed his opinion about importance of carrying out by the Holding of timely cement deliveries to the plants of construction materials industry in northwest region, implementation of flexible price policy for the purpose of its competitive ability on the Leningrad region market, as well as necessity of working out and adopting investment programs to increase output due to extension of range of goods,  setting-up of natural resources processing production (production of dry construction mixes, paving slab, etc.).

At the end of the meeting, the Parties agreed upon cooperation in a wide range of issues within development of  ZAO "Pikalevsky cement" and conclusion of relevant agreement.
