OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 January 2009 was announced, that from January 1 2009 IJSC Ingosstrakh offers a new liability insurance program that covers goods and property accepted for warehouse storage. Its major advantages are wide insurance coverage and option to set up liability limits in excess of RUR7bn. Such limits are obligatorily reinsured with lead western insurance companies.

According to Dmitry Shishkin, Head of the Liability Insurance Section of IJSC Ingosstrakh, ‘currently, this is the highest limit offered in the Russian market for this type of insurance. We are striving to promptly react to the needs of our clients and provide them with high-quality world-class insurance services. Practice shows that liability insurance is gaining importance due to a wider insurance coverage, including recourse suits against warehouse operators’.
