OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2009. Professional Orientation Council for the population is established at a regular sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The draft of relevant resolution was worked out by the Ministry of Labour aimed at strengthening the coordination of professional activity of central bodies of executive power and improving the role of the parties in a social dialogue in its fulfillment and administration.

Liudmyla Denisova, Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine representing the draft resolution stated that this document is particularly topical under conditions of the domestic labour-market changes in the result of financial crisis.

“The establishment of Council will allow to strengthen the influence of professional orientation on balancing the demand and proposals in the labour-market under crisis conditions and will improve the efficiency of formation, resumption and preservation of the labour resource of Ukraine,” the Minister stressed.
