OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2009. ROSNO’s Tyumen branch has paid an insurance compensation of 489,650 roubles to the company "Partner Auto Tyumen" under the contract of carrier/forwarder liability insurance, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insured cargo — paintwork products — was damaged during forwarding. The insurant’s driver had lost control of the vehicle on the icy road and had skidded to the road ditch. The vehicle had overturned, and the cargo was damaged beyond recovery.

The company "Partner Auto Tyumen" concluded the contract of carrier/forwarder liability insurance in 2007. This contract was further extended in 2008. The concluded contract covers the carrier’s third party liability for loss of, destruction of, or damage to, the cargo due to any reason.
