On 23 January 2009 was announced, that in the territorial Directorate of RusSEZ for Kaliningrad Region was held a conference on the problem of participation prospect in implementation of investment projects in the territory of tourist-and-recreational special economic zone "Kurshskaya Spit" with number of representatives of companies - potential SEZ residents.

In the course of mentioned conference was obtained intentions acknowledgement of companies to become residents of tourist-and-recreational special economic zone in the territory of Kaliningrad Region.

Intentions acknowledgement to become residents from companies, earlier proyavivshikh the interest in TRZ in territories of the Republic of Buryatia, the Republics of Altai, the Altai Territory, the Krasnodar Territory, the Stavropol Territory and Irkutsk Region is also derived.
