OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 January 2009 was announced, that all generating companies of IES-Holding operated without failures and breaks during New Year and Christmas Holidays. On 11th of January power plants passed through the morning peak load steady and in accordance with the scheduler.

For the provision of reliable and uninterrupted power supply over New Year and Christmas Holiday period and readiness to the peak load on the first working day, a special operating mode was applied at all generating companies during the Holidays.

According to an order of IES-Holding President Mikhail Slobodin, provisional measures of operation control of all production equipment, repair control and measures, insuring the fire safety of energy companies were undertaken. Within IES-Holding divisions "persons in-charge" were appointed at all management and production levels, responsible for on-line monitoring of power facilities operation and reporting to a "person in-charge" of the holding company.

Gas distribution companies of GAZEKS (a part of Retail Division of IES-Holding) also performed in Russian regions without failures and breaks.
