Pedestrian Bridge Will Go Up near Sokolniki
OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 January 2009 was announced, that it is essential to put up a pedestrian bridge over Moscow Railway’s line towards Yaroslavl to ease access to Sokolniki metro station, Moskomarkhitektura Chairman Aleksandr Kuzmin believes.
According to the official, the pedestrian bridge must be built to give the residents of the northeastern area a possibility to approach the metro at ease and save them from going to the subway station through Sokolniki park.
Now the residents of Bogorodskoe township and nearby neighbourhoods have to go to Sokolniki station of the Moscow Metro through the urban reservation zone.
