OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2009. The List of import-substitution goods of FEZ resident companies was adopted by the Government of the Republic of Belarus. The emphasis is put on the goods that are not manufactured in the territory of the Republic of Belarus or manufactured in deficiency, reported the press-centre of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”.

The products added to the List of import-substitution can be sold in the territory of the Republic of Belarus using tax and custom preferences.

The following resident-companies of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” produce goods that are added to the List of import-substitution:

1. Close corporation "Bigan" – artificial sausage casing;

2. Open joint-stock company "Edem" - flake boards, facing tape;

3. Foreign private unitary enterprise "Terrazyt Plus – Windows and Doors" – plastic doors and windows;

4. Joint enterprise "Zov-Plita" Ltd. - flake boards, furniture parts;

5. "Medvatfarm" Ltd. – medical cotton;

6. Joint enterprise "Bazalis" Ltd. – paper with temperature-sensitive facing;

7. Limited company "Biokom" - products for animal nutrition;

8. Close corporation scientific production association “Vector” – drilling machines;

9. Open joint-stock company “Grodnorajagroservis” - plant-protecting agents;

10. Foreign limited company “Belabedding” - orthopedic mattress covers;

11. Foreign limited company “Vogel & Noot” - metal tins;

12. "Kwinfood" Ltd. - meat sauces; 13. Research-and-production cooperative "Navigator" – detergents;

14. Manufacturing company "Mercury" Ltd. - central heating boilers.

The volume of import-substitution goods manufactured by FEZ “Grodnoinvest” residents in 2008 reached 87.3 billion rubles or 14,1% of total production output of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”.

The supply of import-substitution goods for domestic market assists to the reduction of import, economy of foreign currency, growth of competitive industrial production.
