IBA Creates EDM System for Belarusian Government
OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2009. IBA launched beta testing of the interdepartmental system of electronic document management for Belarusian public authorities. The customer received a complete documentation package and corresponding software, reported the press-centre of IBA.
The project is designed to automate document workflow of 75 public institutions of Belarus and to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Belarusian state governing.
According to the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus #1120 of August 4, 2008, the project # 49 was included in the project list of E-Belarus Government Program.
As IBA has a wide experience in EDM system development, the company was selected to implement the project for the Belarusian government. In December 2008, the project documentation developed by IBA was approved by the State Committee on Science and Technologies.
The IBA-developed system serves as an integrated information environment for distributed Belarusian public institutions including the Administration of the President, the Council of Ministers, all ministries, the Minsk Executive Committee, all local executive committees, and the National Bank.
The implementation of the system allows Belarusian state-run public authorities to exchange information on-the-fly and to receive integrated data on current state of national economy. The system guarantees confidentiality within the intranet mail service, ensures backup and archiving of the information, and provides analysis of after–effects of decision-making.
