OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2009. AECC implemented all of the 58 measures recommended by the state fire inspection with a total of 5.5mln RUR spent on them. Besides, the company spent 8.5mln RUR on the purchase of gas masks and civil defense property.

In 2008 AECC conducted a command and staff exercise for prevention of acts of terrorism onsite and elimination of its consequences. In the framework of its target fire safety program 2007–2011 AECC inspected the fire safety of all of its facilities and repaired its protective structures.

In 2008 the forest fire prevention team of AECC took an active part in the measures to extinguish forest fires in Kitoy district. The inspection of the Civil Defense and Emergency Response Department of Angarsk Municipal Unit has shown that the fire safety and emergency response systems were very efficient
