Belarus’ Beer Imports Increased by 30% in 2008
OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 January 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ imports of beer rose 30% on the year in January-November to 11.475 million decaliters, amounting to USD 69.745 million, up 29.2%, according to official statistics.
Russian beer imports rose 3.5% on the year in January-November to 7.387 million decaliters worth USD 51.189 million, up 11.8%, and Ukrainian beer imports rose 150% to 4.005 million decaliters to the amount of USD 16.816 million, up 150%.
Imports from the Czech Republic increased 41.2% to 48,000 decaliters, to the amount of USD 876,000, up 41.3%.
