OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 January 2009 was announced, that ten social objects, including a clinic, recreation centres, schools and kindergartens, are to be erected in south Moscow in 2009.

“The program aimed at commissioning social objects within the southern administrative district of Moscow in 2009 has been adopted. Ten social objects are to be commissioned in the district this year,” Yury Bulanov, prefect of the district, said.

According to the official, most of them are recreation objects. A sports and fitness facility is to be built in each of the following townships: Eastern Biryulyevo, Central Chertanovo, Southern Chertanovo and Tsaritsyno, one of them will be equipped with a swimming pool.

Three kindergartens designed to accommodate 660 children are to be commissioned in Eastern Biryuleyvo, Nagatinsky Zaton and Northern Chertanovo. The buildings of childcare facilities are to be raised where the dilapidated structures have been demolished.

Two schools are to be erected in Danilovsky and Donskoy townships of south Moscow. When the facilities are open, they will be able to accommodate 1,225 students.

The adult clinic featuring a maternity welfare centre located on Kharkovskaya Street within Biryuleyvo township is to be commissioned in the first half of 2009 that is well ahead of schedule. It will be able to serve 750 citizens per day, Mr Bulanov added.
