OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 January 2009 was announced, that CenterTelecom paid out dividends on registered non-document common shares for 2007 in the amount of Rub 0.3547131 per share.

In line with a decision adopted by the annual general shareholders meeting of CenterTelecom that was held on June 25, 2008, Rub 559,739,693,.47 were allocated for payment of 2007 dividends on common shares.  The total value of payments stood at Rub 555,125,150.04 or 99.18% of accrued dividends.

Obligations for the payment of dividends on this type of shares was executed by CenterTelecom in full except for cases when the company is not required to do so pursuant to Article 44 of the Federal Law “On Joint Stock Companies” and a decision was approved by the Board of Directors of CenterTelecom pursuant to the Statute on the Dividend Policy:

In the application, the registered entity fails to give or incorrectly indicates the data which are required for payment (transfer) of dividends to the shareholder;

The shareholder fails to appear to receive dividends.
