OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 January 2009 was announced, that IJSC Ingosstrakh had paid RUR2.5mln in compensation for the damages caused by the fire outbreak on the premises of Maki Tourist Resort Area in the Astrakhan Region on December 19, 2008. The insured property incurred significant damages; the fire destroyed one of the buildings (43 sq.m. total area) and all the chattels that were in it. According to the order to dismiss criminal complaint, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the internal electric wiring of the building.

IJSC Ingosstrakh has fully settled the damages in accordance with the insurance amount stipulated for the client's building and relevant chattels.
