OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2009. Large energy generating company Vostokenergo  incorporated into Donbass Fuel-Energy Company, belonging to the businessman Rinat Akhmetov, and the Hungarian trader System Consulting ZRt controlled by the Industrial Union of Donbass, belonging to Sergey Taruta and Vitaliy Gaiduk, concluded a contract for electricity export to Hungary in 2009. According to the contractual terms, Vostokenergo is to supply 350 MWh of electricity. Vostokenergo is the only private thermal generating company in Ukraine. The company operates three TPPs: Zuevskaya, Kurakhovskaya and Luganskaya having a total installed capacity of 4085 МWh.
