OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2009. The volume of gas transported through the major pipelines in Belarus totaled 72.4 billion cubic meters in 2008, 3.2% up as against 2007.

In 2008, the country transited 85.1 million tonnes of oil, 93.6% to 2007.

Gas is transported in Belarus via Beltransgaz networks and Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. Oil is pumped by Gomeltransneft Druzhba and the Novopolotsk Oil Transportation Company Druzhba.
