OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2009. The President of the Republic of Belarus has approved the draft intergovernmental agreement with Serbia on temporary employment of citizens of Belarus in Serbia and citizens of Serbia in Belarus. The respective Decree was signed by the Head of State on 15 January, reported the Official website http://president.gov.by.

The draft Agreement reaches the citizens who lawfully stay and work in the territory of the other country, in which they do not reside permanently, and members of their families, and regulates the issues related to entrance, stay and leaving procedures, work, medical insurance, social security for working migrants, tax issues and the ways of transferring the money they earn to their country of residence.

Minister of Interior Vladimir Naumov was authorised to hold talks and sign the Agreement.

The conclusion of this Agreement will help expand business cooperation between Belarus and Serbia and create the conditions for an efficient bilateral exchange of labour resources.
