OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2009. BTA Bank has taken the first place among operators of the Belorussian ruble (according to MICEX) by the results of November, 2008, reported the press-centre of BTA Bank.

The first place of the Bank was determined according to the share of effected transactions  in the total net turnover of trades at the Joint Trading Session.

Assets of LLS “BTA Bank” over 1H2008 totaled RUB 42.3 bln, its equity being RUB 7.2 bln, net profit standing at RUB 609 mln (according to the IFRS).

In 2008 BTA Bank was granted the National Banking Award in the Implementation of Modern Management Technologies (Standards) Nomination.

BTA Bank’s branch network in Russia numbers 10 branches and 24 additional offices.
