OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2009. The NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine is deeply outraged with constant distortion of content of the documents sent to Gazprom company.

The company considers a statement of press-secretary of the Gazprom company concerning confirming by specialists of the Naftogaz company of technical possibility to transit the Russian gas through the Sudzha gas measuring station appear an example of manipulating by public opinion and creating an additional stir round Ukrainian-Russian gas relations.

The company officially declares all the variants of transit of the Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine can be viewed only in the context of concluding of a Technical agreement which is to determine the order of relations between operators of gas transporting systems of Russia and Ukraine.

As reported earlier, Ukraine’s GTS is operating technically for the home market. That’s why NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine proves not capable of affording the Russian gas into the system and further transporting it to the European consumers. The technical specialists of Gazprom company are well aware of the described situation.

The NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine also draws attention of the Gazprom that ethical rules of business relations don’t afford to make public the telephone conversations between the heads of partner-enterprises, even under conditions of information confrontation.

The company urges Gazprom representatives to follow ethical norms between business players around the world.
