OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 January 2009 was announced, that according to decree No 1881 issued on 31 December 2008 by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Vladimir Resin, first deputy Mayor of Moscow at City Hall and head of Integrated Body for Urban Design Policy and Development of Moscow, was awarded the Order of Merit for Country of the IV Degree.

Foreman No 1, as journalists often call Mr Resin, was awarded for “an active participation in the implementation of actions aimed at restoring housing and infrastructure of the Republic of South Ossetia.”
