OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 January 2009 was announced, that TMM Company haD put into operation its "Topaz" residential project, which is the first residential building of business class in Zhytomyr as well as the first one with an underground car park. "Topaz" residential building, located at 4 Chornovola St in Zhytomyr, was accepted by State Inspection Board and registered by Inspectorate of State Architecture and Construction Control in Zhytomyr region on 30 December 2008.

Currently construction-assembling works in "Topaz" have been completed and autonomous heating system of the building has been started. The surrounding territory of the building is completely landscaped. TMM acted as an investor and general contractor of the project. The construction of the building was started in August 2006 and completed in November 2008. The investments into the project construction amounted to UAH 18 million. The utility services for the residential building will be provided by the post-construction utility services department of TMM Company.

The apartments in "Topaz" residential building have been mostly pre-sold at the construction stage. As of today 91% of the total area of the apartments has been sold, only 3 apartments remain available for sale.

As reported earlier, in the current unstable economical situation and based on its experience of working in the Ukrainian crisis in the 90s, TMM is concentrated on completion of its projects under construction. As of 01 January 2009 TMM has 10 projects under construction in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Yalta.

"Topaz" residential building is the first object of business-class residential property in Zhytomyr located in Korolivskiy district, the central and historical part of the city. "Topaz" is 8-10-storeyed building with the total area of 6.8 thousand square meters, including 4.7 thousand square meters of residential useable area. There are 44 apartments, the area of which varies from 75 to 220 thousand square meters. Commercial and office premises are located on the first floor of the building.

The infrastructure includes a guest car park and an underground car park for 34 lots, which is the first of the kind in Zhytomyr. In "Topaz" project TMM remained faithful to its unchanging principle of "turn key" construction that implies all fine finishing works in the constructed buildings.
