OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2009. The Press Service of the National Bank states that, the amount of money in the currency (M2 money aggregate) till December 1 in 2008 year was 5512.8 billion manta, reported the press-centre of NBA.

The amount of money has increased 25.2% in comparison with the beginning of the recent year, and it has increased 46.1% in comparison with December 1 in 2007 year. 3668.5 billion manat of money till December 1 in 2008 year falls to the share of cash money, 925.2 billion manat falls to the share of demanded means, and 919.1 billion manat falls to the share of long-term deposits. Cash –money has increased 62.6% in comparison with the same period of the last year, but non- cash money has increased 21.4%.
