Credit Grant on Azerbaijan Economy Increased by 60%
OREANDA-NEWS. On January 09, 2009 The Press Service of the National Bank stated that, the total credit grant on Azerbaijan economy till December 1in 2008 year was 6855.5 billion manta, reported the press-centre of NBA.
This indicator has increased 2.4% in comparison with the last year, and it has increased 57.9% than December 1 in 2007 year.145.3 billion manat of credit grant has been out-dated credits.
2113 billion manat (30.8%) of credits till December 1in 2008 year was short-term credits, 4742,5 billion manat (69.2) was long-term credits.88.2 billion manat (4.2%) of short-term credits and 57.2 billion manat (1.2%) of long-term credits are out-dated credits. 2991.6 billion manat (43.6%) credit was granted on economy by governmental banks, 3688.1 billion manat (53.8%) by private banks, and 175.8 billion manat ( 2.6%) by non-bank credit organizations. 1916.6 billion manat credit was directed to the Azerbaijan economy by the banks created with the help of foreign capital, and its special amount is 28.0 % in the total credit grant.
Banks acted with the foreign capltal gave 297.7 billion manat (4.3%) credit. 3552, 4 billion manat (51.8%) of credit was given with manat, and 3303.0 billion manat (48.2%) of credit was given with foregn currency.
